To strength the momentum of agricultural research and development in Central Taiwan, the College of Bioresources and Agriculture, National Taiwan University, signs MOU with Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station

The introduction of new technology into agriculture has become a global agricultural development trend, and Taiwan is also actively promoting the application of agricultural technology. The College of Bioresources and Agriculture of National Taiwan University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station on April 16, hoping to integrate academic forward-looking technology with the industrial application technology of the Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station to enhance the momentum of agricultural research and development in the central region. The Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station stated that in the initial stage, the two parties will cooperate on three projects including whole-genome association analysis of rice varieties and the application of drones, molecular marker-assisted vegetable breeding for disease resistance, and functional processing and utilization of whole grain beans.
