The Department of Agricultural Economics holds "Academic Ethics Seminar" to cultivate students' ethical knowledge literacy

In recent years, academic fields have paid more attention to ethical issues. Since the 106th academic year, the Ministry of Education has also listed academic ethics as one of the required courses for masters and doctoral students. In view of this, the Department of Agricultural Economics of National Taiwan University held an "Academic Ethics Seminar" last month to train graduate students to have the correct ethical awareness and attitudes required for research.

In addition to masters and doctoral students, the seminar also brought together the fourth-year undergraduate class of the department and postgraduates of the postgraduate master class to participate in the seminar. The response was very enthusiastic. In the morning of the seminar, Chang Chong-Hsin, an assistant professor at Soochow University Law School and director of the Research Center for Technology and Intellectual Property Rights Law, was invited to share the topic of "Academic Ethics and Intellectual Property Rights." Dr. Chang has worked in the legal field for decades and has also served in government agencies, assisting in handling many intellectual property rights related cases in academic research.
